Hilary Achauer is a San Diego-based marketing content writer and journalist. She’s written content for universities, start-ups, entrepreneurs, executive coaches, management consultants, wellness providers, gyms, and software companies.

She’s also written articles for The New York Times, The Washington Post, Slate, Eating Well, and the Huffington Post, among others.

Hilary has worked as a sports reporter, covering the CrossFit Games and regional competitions, and written case studies, annual reports, email promotions, websites, and ads. Clients include RX Smart Gear, National University, the Rady School of Management, UCSD Health Services, and the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation.

A former children's books editor at one of the country’s top publishing houses, Hilary was the communications director at an international high-end tour operator and the in-house marketing writer for National University.

Once an amateur boxer, Hilary traded her gloves for barbells and now spends her free time training at CrossFit Pacific Beach and surfing.
